All of my life I have considered myself fairly creative, but like anyone else I have always gathered inspiration from the world around me. If had lived in any other environment I would not have become anyone close to who I am today. While that is certainly a statement that seems so obvious it need not be made, I like to think about where I have come from and how it has shaped me so dramatically as a person. I like to think about how me interacting with my hometowns sights, smells, and landscapes has made me interact with all of the new places I go. I like to think about how the music I have surrounded myself makes me behave in everyday life.
My family has also shaped me just as much as my environment; they have always been very supportive and have driven me to do my best. While they have all certainly added pressure for me to excel over the coarse of my life, ultimately I am glad that they were always there to push me. They taught me my most valuable lessons, serving through example both good and bad. Without them I do not think I would be as ambitious as I am in driving myself to accomplish greater and greater things.
